Thick Clients

Joe G. at Bitworking responds to the B&A HTML is Dead flamebait, mirroring my sentiments on the matter. What's interesting is that article describes several options for thick client apps, but ignores the solution that provides the best of both worlds.

With Mozilla, you get a richer set of UI widgetry, access to the file system and more robust persistence, right along with HTML. Hmm, maybe B&A should consider a peer review process. |||
