Mozilla Firebird UI Design

It's great to see this high level look ahead for MozFB happening. I'm most interested in the bookmark UI, and commented here. While I'm sympathetic to the sentiment in the FB folder selector for new bookmarks, it's simply unusable for finding a location in the hierarchy as currently implemented.

The developer's have said the best place to provide feedback is in the forums at mozillazine. It's a less persistent locale than bugzilla and much better suited to pro-con discussions and me-too style comments.

UPDATE:  A revision to the Firebird Roadmap puts most of these changes into v0.9, sometime in 2004.  That provides a good span of time for some serious design activities.  Wiki is coming, along with competitive review of bookmarking UIs across browsers.
