Inspired by phreakco I've implemented a small top frame for navigating the new and popular list. I'm scheming a system where you can mark results and then get a frame to surf them with, if somebody doesn't patent it first.

These functions take advantage of the power of hypermedia , but with ugly proprietary backends. We need a GNU, javascript version, that integrates with public databases and offers greater degrees of customization.

In other news, I've got a demo of my readability enhancement for Neuromancer up - it's IE only and better (?) in IE5.... feedback appreciated.

It occurred to me this late evening, while detailing a javascript solution to alllowing deep linking to an atlanta publication for my local engine, that old browsers share a certain parallel with the human elderly. Kinda of a scary thought, but one that works on a usability angle and fits with the notion of "internet time". Need Sleep...
