Capita taps brain waves to study Web ads' potency from Advertising Age. Bizarre. Correlational studies have shown the measure parallels industry statistics. The technology seems to be evoked response potentials (electrodes on the head). Pricing is remarkably low, at 250-500$ per banner. Wonder who the poor subjects are?

No sign of demographic targetting... Unlike the low impact process of Hidden Agenda, it seems unlike a $100K/yr married female is going to go into a lab and get sticky electrodes attached to her head for $35.

eBusiness - Hidden agenda offers a rent-a-usability test, albeit via subjective personal report. On a positive note, they allow clients to target demographics and offer sample sizes greater than that easily achieved in a standard usability testing scenario. It seems they use reserving, interstitual surveys, and a log polling interface.
